Did you accidentally lose your Google calendar task list? Did it just….. disappear? And now you can’t figure out how to display your task list again? Maybe you clicked on that little X (inside the red circle below)? Because that would do it.
So how do you get it back? Simple.
How to Display Task List in Google Calendar
All you do is look to the left side of your screen under “My calendars” and look for “Tasks”. You can tell “Tasks” is currently disabled by the non-colored box to the left of it.
When you click on “Tasks”, a colored box appears and the Task List returns to the right side of your Google calendar.
Ta Da!
How easy was that? I accidentally clicked that X one day and my task list ran away and I searched all over for it and for some reason didn’t think the Google Calendar was intuitive enough for me to figure it out and it took way too long for me to recover my Google Calendar Task list so I’m writing this real quick tutorial to save you time. In fact, you shouldn’t even be reading this any more because I’ve already solved your problem, so what are you still doing here?
Go back to work already.

HELP!
I clicked the x as I thought I was just ‘hiding’ tasks but now can’t get them back. I do not have a little box as your diagram shows and when I go into settings, the TASKS icon tick is showing but disabled (greyed out). I REALLY want to get my tasks back as I’ve spent ages scheduling. Any other ideas?
