This tutorial explains how to add an image to your blog using WordPress and Blogger.
Add a Picture to a WordPress Blog Post or Page
From the post or page editing screen, put the cursor on the line where you want the image to go. Then click on “Add media ” (circled below):
On the next screen, click “Select Files” button.
Find the image you want and double click it to load it into the library. The picture will appear in your media library, highlighted, checkmarked, ready to be inserted.
You can add a caption here if you wish or align the photo left or right. Click on the Insert into Post button.
To add or change the caption or alignment of a photo after you’ve already inserted it, click on the photo and then click the little pencil to edit your photo attributes.
Add a Picture to a Blogger Blog Post or Page
From the post or page editing screen, put the cursor on the line where you want the image to go. Then click on the “insert image” button (circled below):
It will open a “Select a File” window.
Click on “Choose Files” to find the picture on your computer to insert. The photo will load into the window. (There are 2 loaded in the above example)
Click on the desired photo to highlight it. (The kitty photo above is highlighted.)
Click on “Add selected” button and ta da!
How to Align your Photo Left or Right in Blogger
If you wish to move the photo to the right or the left of your text instead of having it centered on a line by itself, click on the photo and an option will pop up for you to change the alignment.
